What is IT asset disposition (ITAD)?
IT asset disposition (ITAD) is the secure, responsible way to retire an organization’s computers and other IT equipment. It covers collecting the devices, destroying the data on them, refurbishing what still works and recycling what can’t be saved. Regadget offers it with free pickup for businesses, schools and nonprofits.
What counts as end-of-life technology?
End-of-life technology is any equipment your organization is done with, working or not. Regadget takes laptops, Chromebooks, desktops, Macs, iPads, monitors, servers, networking and telecom gear, and loose hard drives. Have something else, like printers or projectors? List it on your quote and we’ll tell you how it’s handled.
Why does data destruction matter when computers are reused?
Devices from laptops to servers carry sensitive information long after their last day of use. Regadget wipes every drive before a machine is refurbished or recycled, so reuse never means your data goes along. A safely wiped device is also what makes a second life possible in the first place.
